Writer. Strategist. Collaborator.

I’m Liz, a storyteller who believes that every great piece of writing starts with deep listening. Whether I’m crafting long-form profiles, writing newsletters that feel like conversations, or capturing someone’s voice for a ghostwritten project, my work is driven by a curiosity about people and a commitment to clarity, tone, and connection.

My writing roots run deep. From the creative stories I wrote as a teen to the journalism and gender studies courses that shaped my voice later on, I’ve always found intention and integrity through words. That path led me to my role at Wonderful Machine, where I honed my skills writing editorial features, case studies, and long-form educational articles.

Today, I also manage a team of writers and operate as social media director at Wonderful Machine. I oversee marketing initiatives across 15 accounts, balancing each client’s individual voice and goals with a broader content strategy. From shaping copy and guiding contributors to planning content and managing publishing schedules, I enjoy bringing both the creative and organizational sides of communication together.

Through my freelance work, I’ve partnered with a range of clients, from local Philadelphia businesses like Wissahickon Brewing, OMG Salon, and Behavioral Wellness for Women to national organizations like Discovery Education and Painted Dog Media. Each project has given me the opportunity to adapt my approach to different audiences, industries, and brand voices while keeping the writing clear, thoughtful, and true to the people behind it.

Outside of work, you’ll find me curled up with a book (especially by authors from places I travel to), participating in a creative writing group, or hanging out with my two cats, Paws and Purmione.
